International Journal of Environmental Science and Technology (IJEST) is an international peer review journal of Iranian Society of Environmentalists (IRSEN) and Center for Environment and Energy Research and Studies (CEERS) affiliated to Graduate School of the Environment and Energy, Science and Research Campus, IAU. The Journal publishes original articles, review papers, short communication and research notes of a high scientific and ethical standard in environmental science and engineering. A priority publication scheme exists for papers outstanding merit topically.

IJEST is now indexed/ abstracted in more than 30 databases, including Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE); ISI Web of Knowledge.

IJEST is certified by Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance # 124/1202 in April 26, 2003.

IJEST is also granted as "Scientific-Research" rank by Ministry of Science and Technology # 3/2910/1215 in March 6, 2004.
